Dr. James Can Place Implants in the Office
Dental implants are a miraculous treatment for restoring a patient’s oral health. Dr. James is now able to complete the entire treatment process from start to finish in our office. This is beneficial to patients because everything can be done under one roof without having to visit other specialists or dentists. He has completed many hours of study in dental implants, including 88 hours with Implant Success Today, comprehensive implant training and 180 hours from the University of Florida’s Implant Educators Continuum.
If you are unfamiliar, dental implants are a tooth replacement treatment option that is one of the best choices for patients that have experienced complete tooth loss or a dental extraction. The process involves placing a titanium post into the jawbone. Over time, the post will fuse with the bone, creating a structure that is similar to a natural tooth root. After some healing time, a replacement tooth structure is placed on top. Dental implants offer a number of benefits to patients, making it a popular choice for many patients.
Implant Treatment is Easier With a CBCT Machine
Your dental implant should be perfect, and we have recently added a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) machine to assist with the process. This machine can create detailed 3D images of your entire mouth, not just your teeth and jaws, but the important nerves and blood vessels supplying them as well. This allows us to plan your implant placement surgery with maximum accuracy.
